ByTheWell4God | “In The Night Season”

(Some of these products were sent to me as a part of the ByTheWell4God Creative Team but all opinions are my own. This post does contain affiliate links.)

Hello everyone! I don’t know about you but I’ve found myself in a season of yuck lately. Lots of things happening all at once with side order of pandemic fatigue has created the perfect storm of a dark season. This month’s devotional kit, “In The Night Season”, from ByTheWell4God couldn’t be any more perfectly timed.

Check out my unboxing video below to see the new release in it’s entirety and hear some of my tips, tricks, and ideas for how to use the kit and various products.

As a parent, I can recall numerous, and seemingly unending times when my children would ask “Why…?” or “How long…?” The same scenario can be true for our Heavenly Father! The uncomfortable things, the hurtful things, the sometimes unbearable things … they all prompt us to cry out “Why?” and “How long?” We may never know all the answers to suffering until we are face to face with Christ. But the Word of God does give us some insight into the heart and mind of God regarding suffering: its causes, its purposes, and yes, its benefits. Join me as the Holy Spirit through the Word teaches us about the suffering of Christ, of others and of ourselves.

I love that ByTheWell4God releases such a large variety of products each month. You have plenty of things to Bible journal with but you can also carry the month’s kit theme into your journals, planners, and other paper rafting projects. This month is full of deep colored galaxy themes to represent the dark season combined with some softer floral themes to represent the hope and light found in Jesus that we can hold onto during the dark seasons.

There are five new stamp sets with this month’s release. These coordinate well with with the devotional kit but there are also some that can be used on their own and would be great for card makers. Towards the end of my unboxing video above I share some examples of how I’ve used the stamps with watercolor and heat embossing if you are looking for some ideas.

I’m already getting requests for some galaxy tutorials so stay tuned for those but here are a variety of different mediums that color match with the release this month. Inktense pencils or blocks would be a great medium to use for painting galaxies since they are permanent once dried which makes them great for layering.

I hope you’ll join in with us as we take a look at how Christ suffered for us which now gives us hope to hold onto during our own suffering.
