Project Life 2019

Hello everyone! Well this week was an eventful week! Check out my process video to see how this Project Life layout came together and hear all about the new member of our family!

The colors of the Jill Kit from Felicity Jane worked perfectly for documenting my photos this week! I cut a 4×6 piece of grey dot grid paper from the Essentials | 12×12 Grid & Dot Grid Paper Pack to act as the base layer for this card. I pulled out some green ink and washi from my stash but everything else are items from the Jill Kit.

Last week I used all 4×6 photos so I had to improvise with this layout of 4×6 pockets since my photos were all 3×4 this week. I paired up a photo with one of the Jill | Journaling Cards to make the pocket size work. A simple sentiment stamp from the Jill | Stamp Set works with this photo of my manicure that I got this week.

I don’t know about you but I would go through the car wash every day if I could! There’s something about it that is so relaxing! Of course I would have me car all clean, inside and out, right before hubby called me to come pick up the stray dog he found LOL.

My hubby works next to some orange orchards and people are always dumping their dogs there. This little girl was filthy and completely emaciated and won over Dave’s heart. I was up to possibly fostering her until she was healthy but Dave and the boys insist that she is staying with us.

Meet Clementine! Dave thought this name suited her since she was in an orange orchard and our other two dogs have old lady names, Ellie & Mabel. I used another Jill | Journaling Card to hand write some journaling and added a Jill | Chipboard Bits & Bobs to finish it off.

This dot grid paper is great for when you need a simple background but don’t want just plain white! For my title card I layered a piece from the Jill | Acetate Shapes and some labels from the Jill | Die Cut Shapes. I stamped out “week” in some green ink using the Bold Alpha Stamp and added some gold Thickers for the week number.
