Bible Journaling Process

Hello everyone! I was so inspired by the newest stamp set, The Light Too, from ByTheWell4God and couldn’t wait to use them for a Bible journaling entry. You can find the process video and products links at the end of this post!

¹⁴“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.¹⁵Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. ¹⁶In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”

Matthew 5:14-16 ESV

I’m sure this is a set of verses that we’ve heard several times and have probably journaled several times if you’ve been Bible journaling for a while but it’s a passage that I need to constantly revisit.

It’s so easy to get swept up into day to day living and forget what our true focus should be while we are this side of heaven. We should be living our lives out in a way that people can just know that we are Christians and have a desire to be more like us. Not because of anything we’ve done but because they can see the attributes of God shining out of us.

Are you letting your light shine? And are you letting it shine at all times…not just when outsiders are watching but also when dealing with your spouse or parenting your kids? Ouch, that’s one that I definitely need to work on!
