Hello everyone! My friend Hilary from Creative Faith Co. asked if I’d be interested in reviewing her newest devotional kit for you guys and this is one that I think will be great especially for those of you who are new to Bible journaling. Check out my detailed review video below to see the kit close up.
This devotion book, written by Hillary Krippaehne, is an excellent tool to help you draw closer to the Lord as you study the theme of light and darkness in the Bible. There are 10 total devotions that walk through Bible stories about light and darkness. Each devotion is a page long. Each devotion also comes with 3-5 creative questions to help you dive deeper into understanding and reflecting on the content. There are blank pages between each devotion to give you space to paint, draw, and doodle your way through what God teaches you about light and darkness. There are bonus pages in the back with some black and white images you can color or cut out to use in your Bible journaling. There’s also a fun bonus playlist included, too. – Creative Faith Co.

-Fabric paperclip bookmark

This kit includes everything for you to get started creatively journaling as you study through the devotional content. Bible journaling can be overwhelming with all of the different products and talk about page prep and bleed through but you don’t have to worry about any of that with this kit. There is space right in the devotional to create with the products included and Hillary gives some great guided prompts to help you creatively respond to her devotional. Of course you could journal in a Bible and bring in supplies from your stash (or maybe grab some of her printables that she has in the shop) to expand your creativity but it’s not necessary.

Here’s a few of the mediums I’ve pulled to go along with the kit if you want to get a little messy with your art journaling.
Head on over to the Creative Faith Co. shop and grab your copy of “The Gospel of Light” devotional kit and checkout some of the other printables and physical products that Hillary has in her shop!
