Hello everyone! Today I’m sharing a wrap up of my Bible journaling entries as I worked through the Revival Camp OT devotional kit from Illustrated Faith. Check out the video below for more details on each page!

For this devotion, Llanet prompted us to listen to the song “Open Heaven” by Hillsong Worship and to document the lyrics. I cut up several pieces of patterned paper, added a swatch of white paint, and then typed out the lyrics to create a mini flip book on my page. Underneath it, I blended some ink through a stencil and added some yellow pen detail to add interest to the design. Finished up with a title and a fun tab at the top of the page!

Sometimes I like to keep it really simple and just use stamps and inks! I blended Festive Berries, Worn Lipstick, and Scattered Straw Distress Oxide Inks onto the page using a fluffy makeup brush. I then used some alpha stamps to stamp out some of the lyrics from “Surrounded” by Michael W. Smith. Your entries don’t always have to be super intense verse studies…sometimes a worship song really speaks to me from the devotional content.

For my final Bible journaling entry, I decided to just pile on a ton of die cuts and stickers to create a background and then used a mix of alpha stickers for a title. This is a great way to use up leftover pieces you might have from a kit while also creating a colorful, textured background. If you did this same technique on a piece of paper or cardstock and then attached it to your page as a tip in then you’d have some private journaling space as well!
