Hello everyone! This month, I’ve been working on devotional kits off camera since we’ve been gone so much but I did want to share my Bible journaling entries with you all. Here’s a look at the entries that I created for the “Waiting in Day 2” kit from ByTheWell4God!

This first entry for Day 2, does have a process video where you can see how the page came together.

For this entry, I chose to spend time on the heart element and keep the background simple. I stamped & heat embossed multiple succulent images onto cardstock, watercolored them, and then cut out a wonky heart shape. A light dusting of Weathered Wood Distress Oxide Ink helps the heart stand out from the white page. A few stamped art marks and alpha stickers finish it up!

I love how quickly a page can come together with an ink blended background and some die cuts! For this page, I blended Wilted Violet, Picked Rasberry, and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Inks and then layered on some of the die cuts that came as the free goody bag that you get when ordering from ByTheWell4God. For the title, I mixed some tile alphas, kit alpha stickers, and “The Write Type Lower” stamps.

Printables can make a bold statement on a page but also make it come together super quick! I first typed out my journaling on a Project Life card and then layered the typewriter image (printed on clear sticker paper) over the top. I used a combination of Pumice Stone, Brushed Corduroy, and Ground Espresso Distress Oxide Inks to create a table top under the image. I finished up with some ink splatters and a title!

Since I already had this image printed out on clear sticker paper I decided to use it as my focal point for this entry. I like to dress up printables by adding other layers, like cardstock, fabric, stickers, etc. A tag from Felicity Jane, a leatherette bow, and some clear stickers from the kit, are all it took to complete this page.

The devotional kits from ByTheWell4God are full of scriptures for you to work through and there is plenty of product to document way more entries than I did this month but I love that you have the option to create as much or as little as you have time for. I do a lot of note taking and highlighting in the devotionals themselves and just hop into my journaling Bible when something stands out to me or I have some extra time to create.
I hope these entries give you some inspiration as you work through “Waiting in Day 2” from ByTheWell4God and I can’t wait to start working in the next kit!
Until next time!
❤ Lindsey
Can you post, leave, direct, sent a link of how to prepare the Bible page. I don’t think you are doing it in the new green Bible, but I would like to know how. thanks.

I don’t ever prep my pages unless I specifically show it in a video but again, that’s very rarely. You can check out this video if you want info on page prep https://youtu.be/4d-Vyg_d3i0

Can you tell me what pens you use to journal in your Illustrating Bible that will not bleed through to the other side of the page?
