Project Life 2019

Hello everyone! So far I’m off to a good start and am keeping up with my Project Life album! This is my first time doing a project like this so I’m still trying to get a routine down. For this week, I stuck to just one 12×12 pocket page and used lots of Maggie Holmes goodies!

I love how easy a layout like this comes together with these gorgeous cards and die cuts from Maggie Holmes. I want to keep things fairly flat in this album so I stuck to just layering paper without any dimensional items.

I added “Let’s do this!” to my photo in Photoshop to take up some of the blank area and keep the image flat. This made for a fun but simple way to document my journey back to the gym after several months!

I had lots of photos from our trip to see my sister to have Connor’s tooth fixed. Rather than use two pocket pages, I decided to create a flip-up with two of the photos (it also hides Connor’s giant mouth LOL).

This week was also the first time that the boys went to youth group at our new church. I didn’t get a photo of them but I did get a photo of my Bible study books that I was able to spend some time with while they were in class.

The Gather Edition of pocket cards comes with plenty of cards that have journaling spots on them which makes it easy to document the little moments from the week. I love that the cards even have faux stitching detail so I don’t really have to add anything to them if I don’t want to.

One last photo of the boys in front of the giant fish tank at Bass Pro Shops to document our little side trip on the way home from the dentist. I added a few of the Maggie Holmes die cuts to finish it off.
