Gratitude Documented 2018 | Plans & Supplies

Hello everyone! I don’t know about you but I’m super excited for Gratitude Documented this year! I love this project and the way it gets our hearts prepared and centered in a place of gratitude before we head into the Advent season.

Here’s a look at some of the products I’ve pulled for this project and the different ways that I’ll be working through it. You can check out the video below (grab a snack, it’s a long one LOL) to see more details about the products and my plans.

I’ve chosen to not work in my journaling Bible this year (which was a tough decision) and will instead be working in the 100 Days of Grace & Gratitude Devotional Journal along with the Grace & Gratitude Kit from DaySpring and Illustrated Faith. This book will take us through Gratitude Documented, Advent, and the New Year so we will be getting a lot of use out of it.

I chose to take my book and have it coil bound at Office Depot so I can fill it full of chunky bits and bobs without having to worry about the binding.

In addition to the faith journaling that I will be doing, I know I will also want to document photos and memories from the month of November. For this project I created 4 mini TN inserts to create in and will be using some prompts from The Wild Hare Kits.

I know that two separate projects and two separate sets of prompts may seem overwhelming but I’m going to be a crazy woman and power through both LOL.

I love to stamp and use die cuts for this project so of course I pulled a bunch this year. I’m completely obsessed with the Fall Leaves stamp/dies from Right At Home and will be getting lots of use out of them this year.

Don’t forget to pull stamps and things from past year’s Bible journaling kits!

I don’t know about you but metallic copper just screams Fall to me! Try mixing and matching some metallic heat embossing when stamping out images.

Printables are a life saver for a big project like this! They can be a quick and easy way to add interest to a page and can be much more cost effective since you can reprint and use in future projects.

Try printing on different mediums like cardstock, clear label paper, transparency, vellum, and even fabric!

Don’t forget to full out papers and stickers from your stash and use them up! I don’t know about you but I’m always picking up holiday/seasonal products when I see them but then they don’t get used up since they are only purposed for a short amount of time. It’s okay to pull out old product and use it up!

Fall=texture in my mind (chunky sweaters, crunchy leaves, leather boots, etc.) so of course it would carry over into my craft projects. I’ve pulled out a variety of wood veneer pieces, canvas tags, and washi tapes with different finishes and textues to add as final touches.

Of course I’ll be getting messy with paint, markers, and inks so here are some products that I pulled to color match the Grace & Gratitude Devotional Kit but feel free to use what you have.
