Tracing in the Illustrating Bible

Hello everyone! I’ve had some questions about tracing in the new Illustrating Bible since it has thicker pages. I found a vintage floral image on FreePik and decided to do some simple tracing and watercolor painting for this Bible journaling entry.

Check out the process video below and don’t forget to grab either the color or B&W version of this vintage floral.

My husband is currently in the hospital fighting a very bad case of sepsis. I’m a pretty level headed person for the most part but this week has been very scary. As I sat down tonight to create in this beautiful new Bible, I decided to just keep it simple and journal a prayer for my husband.

do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
