Hello everyone! I recently received a couple of journaling Bibles from Thomas Nelson Bibles to review and share with you guys! (They were sent to me for review but I’m not paid for my review and all opinions are honest and my own) You can find my video review at the end of this post (you want to watch it because there is a giveaway happening over there 😉)
This company produces a variety of Bibles in the King James Version and New King James Version and I think they have some features that you all will really like.
These Bibles feature:
• Thomas Nelson’s exclusive Comfort Print® typeface
• Lined, wide margins (just over 2″ and even more in books like the Psalms and Proverbs)
• Premium paper
• Words of Christ in red
• Lay flat bindings
• Two ribbon markers
I usually work in a Crossway ESV Journaling Bible so I used that as a comparison to these to see how different products behaved and to show some of the differing features. I always suggest testing Bible Art Journaling products on the back pages of your Bible just to be sure but these Bibles respond very similar to the one I use on my channel.
If you are looking for a Bible that is in the KJV or NKJV translation, want Jesus’ words in red, and want it to respond the same way to products I show on my channel, then these Journal The Word Bibles from Thomas Nelson Bibles would be a great option!
Also, if you aren’t a Bible Journaler but instead are looking for a Bible that you can easily take sermon notes in or even document some prayers in, then these Bibles would be great for you!
You can also get 15 journaling prompts for free by signing up for their email list!
Check out the video below to see more details and hear my thoughts on these Bibles but I think they are absolutely beautiful and are great quality! There is also a chance to win one of these Bibles so be sure to listen to the end of the video for directions on entering the giveaway!

My favorite verse is Isaiah 41:10 … in my darkest days I ran across this verse and it’s what helped guide me thru and save me and my children from a rough time in life.

Dear Lindsey I enjoy your videos so much because I need all the help you can give me! I told God I didn’t do kids and he’s bringing so many teenagers that want to come and spend the night, hang out and now we’ve really gotten into bible journaling! Lol. I’m not a natural born artist.not even a qualified doodler. However God will use anyone and everyone who is willing. So I’ve stepped far out of my comfort zone and am embarking on this new journey as a nearly washed out 62 year old
I came across this company that makes natural pigments. They purport that no paints even touch any type of metal during the process. I’ve swatched out the colors they sent me and he (Rick), has an Etsy shop called Jazper Stardust. If you get an opportunity you might want to check out his shop The colors came in a small tin so they can be used for on the go. I usually like the brighter colors but thought I should get some earthen colors to work with

Philippians 4:8,9 has become my life verse. No matter where the storms of life have taken me, putting my mind on these things has brought me peace and Consequently the ability to find the joy of the Lord in even the most dire of circumstances.
