Sealed With The Holy Spirit

Hello everyone! I was flipping through my first journaling Bible when I came across a page I journaled in Ephesians and knew I wanted to create the same one in my new Bible. While tracing the image I thought why not go ahead and create a printable for all of you! You can find them at the end of this post and there is also a process video over on my YouTube channel.

I decided to keep the process pretty simple and chose Derwent Inktense Pencils to color paint with since they are easy to work with and are transparent so I can still read the text on the page.

The other reason I love Inktense Pencils is that they don’t bleed through our delicate Bible pages. Bleed through happens and I’ve found ways to deal with it but it’s always nice when you find products that don’t give you trouble!

The book of Ephesians is probably one of my favorites and I’ve studied through it several times over the years. It’s full of the many truths of what it means to be a Christian as well as how to live out those truths in our lives.

13 In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, 14 who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of his glory. Ephesians 1:13-14 ESV

I love reading that we aren’t alone here in this sin filled world, we have a helper that dwells within us once we give our life over to Jesus. We also see that our inheritance…that is our eternity with Christ, is SECURED. No one can take that away from us…as hard as the enemy may try he cannot take it.

How reassuring is that!? We have been stamped with the Holy Spirit seal!
